Photo Blog: Exploring Club Balai Isabel

Club Balai Isabel is a 14-hectare property in Talisay, Batangas. Located along the shores of Taal Lake, it offers a breathtaking view of the popular Taal Volcano. It offers hotel rooms, villas, cottages and a wide variety of function rooms for various events and special occasions. Club Balai Isabel also houses a café and a restaurant. Aside from its proximity to the Taal Volcano and Tagaytay, Club Balai Isabel is also a top choice for hosting corporate events and special occasions like weddings and birthday parties because of its amenities and facilities.

Last year, I was fortunate enough to be invited by my Tita Yen (who is a realtor and an accredited broker of Club Balai Isabel) and my Ate Len (who works for TechoAsia, the same company who owns Club Balai Isabel) to come along as they attend a seminar in Club Balai Isabel. I have always wanted to experience checking in to one of the hotels and resorts in Talisay, Batangas to enjoy the view of the Taal Lake and Volcano from a ground level’s perspective (I have always admired Taal Volcano from a distance, thanks to Tagaytay’s restaurants and coffee houses. I also happen to have experienced hiking the crater of Taal Volcano last January 2017). That is why I was really excited to get in for free. I was also given free passes to their latest attraction–Aqua Park).

What I love about Club Balai Isabel is that you will not run out of things to do. You can take a dip in one (or all!) of their pools or play in the Aqua Park. You can also walk along the shores of Taal Lake and appreciate the sight of the Taal Volcano or you may have a quiet time in the chapel located inside the property. And of course, if you get hungry, just grab a bite of anything you want in the restaurant. Their food selection is really good.

The place gives off a serene vibe which makes it perfect for a vacation (or staycation)–may it be by yourself or with your loved ones. I was not really in the mood to go for a swim that day because I was feeling really ill (I was actually hospitalized two days after the trip) so I was not able to try out the Aqua Park nor swim in any of the pools. Nevertheless, I was still able to relax and enjoy my stay.

After a quick photo walk (not literally for I hopped on the tram to tour the whole area) around the property, I decided to just chill by the pool and look after cousin, Alison. By the time we were heading home, I was having an episode of chills due to my fever. I could not even hold my body up anymore. I was fast asleep on the drive home. So I pretty much forgot about my Balai Isabel experience because it was overshadowed by the memory of my swollen foot and high fever… Until I stumbled upon these photos in my hard drive. Looking back at my Balai Isabel experience, I can say that it actually turned out pretty memorable.
